Maxlock Titanium studs: Ourstuds are made from Grade 5 Titanium alloy, better than pure Ti and the bestquality material to make studs from. Butisnt Chromoly the best? Isnt Titaniummore brittle than Chromoly? WhileTitanium IS in fact more brittle than Chromoly, there are several factors that determinethe quality of a metal, and just because Ti is more brittle than Ch doesntmean Ti is brittle or breaks easily.The truth is that bothTitanium and Chromoly are both excellent metals from which studs can be made,and both are more than capable of handling the heat and pressure any off roadvehicle throws at them. TitaniumIS stronger than 4130 Chromoly and has the same strength as 8740, it is harder thanChromoly, more resistant to heat and corrosion than Chromoly, and it is HALF THE WEIGHT of Chromoly. Lastly, our Ti studs are LESS EXPENSIVE than Chromoly, and they come with a LIFETIME WARRANTY*! If for any reason a stud fails duringuse, not installation, we will send an entire new stud kit. No other parts nor any labor are included,and it can not be converted to a refund or discount of any kind. Same warranty procedure mentioned aboveapplies.
